Ultrachem has been producing synthetic motor oils since the 1970's based on a unique formulation of diester base fluids. These Chemlube Motor Oils in various viscosities have evolved with the demands of motor vehicles over the years.

Although these oils once were API certified through their motor oil-licensing program, Ultrachem no longer participates with that API program. Therefore, these products are not able to carry the API "donut."

The ability of esters to “wet” metal surfaces due to their polar attraction combined with their natural detergency make these Chemlube Motor Oils unique products that will prolong oil drain intervals and help the consumer save on disposal costs when compared to frequent drain intervals of petroleum products.

Ultrachem Motor Oils are available in five grades; 10W-30, 10W-40, 20W-50, SAE 30 and SAE 40.
